We just finished up with the second day at the Art Expo New York and I am really tired. Its been a lot of fun and we have met many great people who are in the art industry who sell art throughout the world. Tiffany has had some great offers, and it looks as though she might be selling work Ina few galleries around the country. This is a great thing for both Tiffany Mulherin and FatTail Gallery. She is still working on a few deals and more news about this will be posted later!!!

Another quick item to mention is that Tiffany Mulherin was the Featured Artist of the day on March 16th 2010 for the Art Expo New York. This is great news for both Tiffany and FatTail Gallery.

Art Expo New York

Well…..I’m sitting here at the airport with Tiffany. It’s a busy day here and of course our flight to New York is delayed.

A crate of 35 pieces of art work is arriving at pier 94 on the Hudson river. Many of Tiffanys pieces of art are orignals and some are beautiful giclee prints.

Tiffany has a press meeting right away in New York and has a photoshoot in front of her art.

Tiffany was also the featured artist of the day on 3/16/2010 for the New York Art Expo. We will drop the link in as soon as we check into the hotel.

With artists coming to New York from all over the world it’s a great honor to have a FatTail Artist featured in this sort of spotlight.

Tiffany and I will be posting the news and pictures from the art show here on this blog.

First Storm of the Year

A Winter Storms Hits Aspen, Colorado During Fall Season

This could be the closest I have ever come to a painting in my life. I took a look at this file and was very suprised on how much it looks like a painting. There is no post production or photoshop manipulation to this image. Just a massive amount of snow falling early in the season. There is a pine tree and a few yellow aspen tress in the fame, but they are a bit diffcult to make out. The snow was coming down so hard I could not see more than 50 yards in front of me. I took around ten images of this, some focused on the trees and some in the forground where the snow flakes are focused. The difference was massive and the final cut was a no brainer. This shot was taken at the top of Pearl Pass at around 12,000 feet. The early snow was wet, heavy and really coming down fast.

The Fall Season

Once again I went to Aspen for the fall season. It was more colorful than last year with many red, orange, green, and yellow colors. The aspen trees seem to glow in this image. What happened was this was shot early morning when the first snow of the year fell and stuck to the trees. The sky was cloudy, but then started to clear up making gaps in the cloud cover. This image was taken right when the sun poked out and illuminated the aspen trees. A bit of luck!!! Love those. It was taken around 10 miles east of Aspen, Colorado.
